GTO Project - Part 4

A fairly quick entry this time.  With the car still up in the air I am able to poke around much easier.  Unfortunately that means finding more rust...

GTO Project - Part 3

Next up in "Adrian's adventures in car repair" we pull the back-end of the GTO off for fun and profit :)

GTO Project - Part 2

The first thing I noticed when I purchased the car was a god-aweful fog-light installation.  There was a massive light mounted to the bumper that was rusting, along with a terrible switch mounted to the dash that looked like it was going to take your eye out.

GTO Project - Part 1a :)

Partial update: Below is the current state of the kitchen and the living room..

Drills, angle grinder, impact driver and selection of batteries.  On the table, some of the bits stripped off the car, more tools, spanners etc, some sprays (oils, grease, paint, etc), blow torch. And to top it off some ppe.  Gloves, glasses, face mask and earplugs.

The current state of the living room (theres more stacked up that you cant see :) )

The GTO project car

As most of you will be aware, I acquired a 1993 Twin Turbo Mitsubishi GTO recently, and while it goes like a bat out of hell, it could use some TLC. It is also ripe for some performance modifications.

The changes to the GTO started a few weeks ago, but I have not gotten around to documenting them yet.  I have been taking loads of photos along the way, though, so I will start to blog them when I get a chance.
